Jordan Bunger PT, DPT

Dr. Jordan Bunger was born and raised in Central New York, graduating from Clinton High School in 2010. She attended nearby Syracuse University, where she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2014. One month after earning her undergraduate degree, Dr. Bunger moved to Long Island to continue her educational journey in Stony Brook Southampton’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Throughout her time at Stony Brook, she completed clinical affiliations in a variety of settings, including a skilled nursing facility, outpatient orthopedics, inpatient pediatric rehabilitation, and a running-specific orthopedic clinic. These affiliations provided her with ample experience working with patients of a variety of ages and diagnoses. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in June of 2017.

Throughout her youth, Dr. Bunger was an active member of many athletic teams. While participating in a wide variety of sports, she most enjoyed field hockey and lacrosse. Her love of sports and physical activity played a large role in her decision to pursue physical therapy as a career, and she enjoys working with patients with a similar passion. At present, Dr. Bunger chooses to continue her love for physical activity through weight-lifting and running.

Dr. Bunger is excited to work with the patients at Professional Care Physical Therapy and hopes to grow as a therapist through many continuing education courses. She hopes to attend SFMA certification courses and become a NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist within the next year.
