Dr.  Patrick Corley grew up in Huntington, New York and graduated from Chaminade High School. Patrick was accepted into and successfully completed Chaminade’s Collegiate program. He attended the University of Scranton for his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition. Patrick transferred all 37 credits from the Collegiate Program and graduated undergrad a year early in 2011. Patrick utilized the year between graduating and starting Graduate School to get acclimated with Outpatient Physical Therapy where he learned the importance of connecting with people and building relationships amongst patients & staff while focusing on the ultimate goal of improving the lives of others. Patrick returned to the University of Scranton’s Doctorate program and graduated in 2015 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Dr. Corley was able to attain clinical experience with multiple-valued mentors who focused on manual therapy and higher-level critical thinking with treatments including but not limited to Neurokinetic Therapy, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and the Maitland approach. In addition to outpatient experience, Patrick has had clinical experience with Mercy Hospital in Acute Rehab where he saw the impact that can be made in the earlier stages of recovery with life-changing episodes including patients who have suffered strokes and significant neurological deficits. This helped form the foundation of Patrick’s belief that there is no limitation to recovery and that given focus, determination, and the appropriate treatment plan anyone can improve their overall function. Patrick has seen some excellent results in this regard with chronic neurological patients including those who suffer from Mulitple Sclerosis, Strokes/Cerebrovascular Accidents, and Parkinson’s Disease in the Outpatient setting.

Dr. Corley is returning from practicing in Georgia where he has experience as a Clinic Director and was exposed to interventions outside the scope of the New York Practice Act including Dry Needling.  These different experiences have molded Patrick’s overall approach in delivering high-level multi-modal care to those who need it most. Dr. Corley is actively pursuing a COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist) certification as well as an (OCS) Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification.
