Nick Lanzillotto, BEXSc, CSCS

Nick Lanzillotto grew up on Long Island in the town of Sayville playing football.  Once a patient here at Professional Care Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation for a shoulder injury from high school football, Nick was inspired to pursue a career in a related field.  Nick began working as an Aide for Professional Care PT soon after he had recovered from his injury and then graduated from Sayville High School.  He went on to attend Sacred Heart University to earn his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science.  After coming back home to Long Island he worked at the Professional Care PT Riverhead office while furthering his education and earning his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.  Nick went on to earn a spot with an internship program for Strength & Conditioning Coaching at Champion Physical Therapy & Performance in Waltham Massachusetts.  While there, he was able to work alongside and learn from some of the best in the industry such as Mike Reinold, Lenny Macrina, Dan Pope, Dave Tilley, Kiefer Lammi, Nick Esposito, Diwesh Poudyal, and Kristy Zurmuhlen.  During his time at Champion PT, Nick had the experience and privilege of working with a wide variety of clients including not only the general population but youth athletes, high school athletes, and college athletes attending Division 1 schools.  After his internship, Nick was eager to return home and apply his knowledge and experience by joining the newly founded Professional Care Athletic Performance (PCAP) Team.  Now with PCAP, Nick has had the honor of working with and learning from Professional Care PT’s own Tom Tilton and looks forward to providing a quality service to those who come through our doors whether it be for PCAP’s Performance Training or for our new Personal Training Program.  In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, hiking, surfing, fishing, and kayaking.  Nick has even founded his own fundraising event “Kayak for Heroes” which raises money for veteran charities as well as his own online based company
