Jake Carlock, FMS, ISSA CPT, NFL Alumni

Jake Carlock grew up in Babylon, New York, where he excelled as a three-sport athlete at Babylon High School. Jake went on to play Division I football at Stony Brook University, then completed his collegiate career at LIU Post while studying Physical Education & Health.


While at LIU Post, Jake excelled in both the classroom and football field, earning an opportunity to play in the NFL. Following his senior season, Jake went on to have a multi-year NFL career playing for the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and the Atlanta Falcons. Upon his departure, he recognized a passion for the world of strength and conditioning/athletic performance and focused on his natural ability to work with athletes.


Jake went on to receive his FMS, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition, and Strength & Conditioning ISSA Certifications, as well as becoming an EXOS-certified performance coach. In 2020, Jake interned alongside Speed Performance and Strength and Conditioning Specialists at ATHELITE Sports Performance in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently finishing his CSCS certification and hopes to have this completed in 2023. 


Since his retirement from the NFL, Jake has been focused on helping local athletes achieve their goals. Jake has worked alongside numerous Division 1 high school prospects as well as local collegiate athletes from the Division I-III level, helping guide off-season programming and prep for upcoming seasons with resounding success.

Throughout his career, Jake had the opportunity to work with world-class strength and conditioning coaches, including Aaron Wellman, Thomas Stallworth, Dave Puloka, and Adam Lachance. Jake is eager to share his lessons learned throughout his athletic career along with the tools and techniques he used to succeed at the highest level.
