Alex Scheiner grew up in Patchogue, NY where he attended and graduated from Patchogue Medford High School. Alex’s love for sports began at an early age when he began playing football, a sport he enjoyed throughout his middle school and high school career. After graduation, Alex was accepted into the Stony Brook University and Suffolk Community College Joint Admissions Program. Upon completing his courses, Alex continued his education at Stony Brook University where he majored in Biology and played Rugby for their D1AA Team. After suffering an injury that required surgery, Alex began rehabilitation for his post-op care at Professional Care, and it was then he began to work for the practice as a physical therapy aide.
In 2021, Alex was accepted to the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Suffolk Community College, where he was elected President of his class. Alex was instrumental in helping to organize the first CPR Certification Class for the college, which took place at the South Country Ambulance Headquarters, where Alex volunteers as a licensed EMT. Alex’s goal as a PTA is to provide the highest level of care possible to his patients so that his patients can return to living their active lives pain-free.
