Dr. Maximilian Fischer grew up in Miller Place, NY, where he graduated from Miller Place High School. He then attended SUNY Oneonta and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Human Biology. Max’s interest in physical therapy began after seeing firsthand the benefits and great relationship his mother with MS fostered with her physical therapist. Following his undergraduate education, he was accepted and attended Touro University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program graduating in September of 2023.
While attending Touro Unversity’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, Max had the opportunity to have clinical rotations in various settings; inpatient rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, cardiac rehabilitation at Peconic Bay Medical Center, outpatient rehab at Island Sports Physical Therapy, Metro Physical and Aquatic Therapy, and Professional Care Physical Therapy.
Outside of the clinic, Max enjoys cheering on his favorite teams; Knicks, Yankees, and Jets, golfing, hiking, and camping. Having traveled to 22 of the United States National Parks, a major goal for him is to travel to all 65 national parks throughout this beautiful country. Max is excited to join the team at Professional Care and looks forward to improving the lives of everyone he works with and returning them to pain-free living and the ability to live their lives to the fullest.
