Dr. Blake Bernstein, PT, DPT, grew up in Centereach, NY, where he graduated from Centereach High School. During his high school years, Blake showcased his athleticism by playing varsity baseball. Throughout his baseball journey, he faced several injuries that ignited his passion for Physical Therapy.
Dr. Bernstein pursued his undergraduate studies at SUNY Cortland, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2022. While at Cortland, he actively participated in the Club Baseball team, serving as President during his senior year. Following this, he continued his education at Stony Brook University, where he obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating in May 2025. While enrolled in Stony Brook’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, Blake gained valuable experience through clinical rotations in diverse environments. His rotations included acute care at Peconic Bay Medical Center and outpatient rehabilitation at Rusk Rehab at NYU Langone, Dynamic Performance Physical Therapy, and Professional Care Physical Therapy.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Bernstein enjoys playing baseball, golf, and weightlifting, along with traveling. He is also an enthusiastic supporter of his favorite teams, the Mets and the NY Jets.
