Dr. Shanna Haddow grew up in Northport, New York, and graduated from Northport-East Northport Senior High School. During her time at Northport, Shanna swam for the Northport Girls Varsity swim team in which she was captain in her Junior and Senior years.
Shanna attended Sacred Heart University where she received her Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2020. While at Sacred Heart, she was a member of the Division 1 Women’s Swimming & Diving Team for the duration of her undergraduate studies. Dr. Haddow then went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Sacred Heart University, graduating in May of 2023. Shanna’s clinical experiences include a rotation at Huntington Hills Center for Health and Rehabilitation, and Norwalk Hospital where she completed her acute care affiliation. Shanna has also been able to gain valuable experience in the outpatient sports spectrum while completing a clinical rotation at HSS Sports Rehab in Stamford, CT. It was at HSS that she was able to work closely with various surgeons and therapists with the most up-to-date clinical expertise to rehab athletes back to their prior level of function.
Shanna was able to attend the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio, Texas in 2022 where she learned from some of the best physical therapists in the world of sports performance and orthopedic physical therapy. In the future, she aspires to gain her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist degree in order to treat orthopedic injuries with the most recent evidence-based practice.
Shanna enjoys attending cycling classes, boating, and traveling with family and friends outside the clinic.
