Since 2020, Dr. James Gucciardo, PT, DPT, has been practicing as a physical therapist with a specialization in orthopedic and spine care. He is dedicated to helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based treatment and personalized care.
James received his under graduate bachelor’s of health science degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 2016. James then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Stony Brook in 2020. He is now in the process of studying for and pursuing his Certificate in the McKenzie Institute’s Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy program.
Since graduating, James has gained clinical experience in orthopedics specializing in administering hands-on manual techniques, prescribing therapeutic exercise, and evaluating patients orthopedic and neurologic deficits.
James has experience working with large demographics including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, post-operative surgery as well as dysfunctions in gait and balance, return to sports, and general health and fitness.
James is committed to collaborating with his patients to restore function and achieve their goals to return to their active, pain-free lifestyle.
