Rachel Masullo, MS, OTR/L, is a Long Island native with a lifelong passion for helping others. Growing up, she was heavily involved in athletics and knew early on that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare as she thrived in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. She attended Long Island University on an athletic scholarship, playing Division I women’s lacrosse, and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for occupational therapy. Rachel went on to earn her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University, graduating in 2024. While completing a 12-week clinical rotation at St. Charles Rehabilitation, she developed a strong interest in hand therapy and working with individuals recovering from neurological conditions. As a therapist, Rachel is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. She believes in building genuine connections and making therapy a positive and empowering experience. Rachel is eager to continue advancing her expertise in hand therapy and aspires to specialize further in neurological rehabilitation. She looks forward to sharing her skills and passion with the team at ProCare Occupational Therapy.
